Outfit post

It isn't really my thing to do outfit posts on my blog. However this pic Mr. C took while we were returning home from work today worked out really well and I decided to share it with you. The reason Mr. C took the photo in the first place was because we were testing our new memory card.
The other thing that might be interesting is getting your feedback on the appropriateness of this outfit for a work environment. As is very obvious from my choice of clothing I work in a very relaxed environment where my outfit doesn't stand out or is considered inappropriate. But I do dress much more formally on days when we have business meetings scheduled. I've also been considering the possibility of keeping some neutral business clothes just in case.

    1. Navy and petrol blue work great together :-) For an even more daring mix: cobalt blue and petrol blue.

  2. So relaxing to see a totally different type of outfit for a long time. I really like the mix of different blues. Very appropriate for your ordinary workdays.Using one color ( even when in different shades ), does not chop you to small pieces!

    1. Mette, I wasn't aware my outfit is so very different. Is it different form what one might expect to see Finnish women wear?
The denim skirt or jeans in a work place is very tricky anyway you look at it. In one of those great ironies of life, this skirt happens to be my all time favourite piece of clothing :-)

    2. Yes it is. I don´t see women wearing denim skirts over here, I have never seen someone wearing tights in that blue. I have never seen a " blue outfit " like the one you have.
But - like I wrote, I like your approach to mixing the blues: ).

    3. Mette, thanks for the input. I'm always curious about the habits and customs of people from different places. And fashion can be very indicative. Even here in Slovenia trends are so incredibly different depending on cities or regions.

  3. Thanks Lori :-) The necklace is proof you were right in one of your recent posts: a simple stringing design is sometimes the only thing that works.

  4. Hi Ana, it's funny, as I first started scrolling I expected to see jeans, then surprise! A skirt. I think it's lovely outfit for work as long as your place of business is has a casual dress code. I love all of the blues. It's actually a really interesting mixture of dressy and casual.

    1. Dressy casual indeed :-) But I do need to invest in a few pieces of cotton or coloured denim skirts/pants. It will still look relaxed but maybe just a tad more polished.
