Today I covet...

I haven't done one of these in a long time. Probably because I've been so overwhelmed with pretty things for a while now. This clutch, made from real wood and leather is a thing of beauty and awe (though I'm sure for those of us who are prone to cruelty free items the lining could be made from faux leather)

  1. The clutch appeals to me too. I can even imagine the feel of it.
Great that each one looks a bit different.
I can very well imagine you carrying this tote : ).

    1. Mette, I thikn it's such an intriguing piece and at the same time timeless design that has the ability to become a statement piece of a woman's wardrobe and identity.

  2. The design is lovely. Do you often carry a clutch? I worry I'll lose a clutch.

    1. Susan, clutches are my favourite bag styles :-D but it does take a bit of caution and elegant balance especially at cocktail paries where your hands are already full!

    1. I totally agree with you! This would be lovely as an interior design elemet. I think I'm drawn to such structural pieces that flirt with architectural designs like the Mojito shoes: http://catspajamas-dogstuxedos.blogspot.com/2011/02/today-i-covet.html

  4. That is the most unusual bag I've ever seen. VERY attractive. A wooden clutch; I didn't even know there was such a thing. You should get it. Is it very expensive? Certainly looks to be.

    1. Sanda, there's a link under the picture that will take you straight to the product page. The clutch is reasonably priced at aprox. 300 € which for this level of craftsmanship and materials used is appropriate. Still that is a lot of money :-) I've never paid this much for a bag or an accessory before. Since this is such an investment piece I'm going to start saving my money. I'd love to own it but on the other hand could I justify the purchase with so many bags in my closet already? I've even strated thinking on passing on some of my other bags to make space for this one...
