We continue with our regular programme...

Thank you all for words of encouragement and support during these past few days. As of yesterday our household is back up and running with the new lean mean PC. It is a monster of a thing and I am assured that there isn't a programme or a game too difficult for it, which I am sorry to say it does not affect me one bit. However the reasoning behind choosing  a PC so advanced is the fact that this one will serve for the years (and years to come). And as Mr. C took the trouble to explain it's because it has some sort of ports or platforms or something that enable us to upgrade it to new technologies should the need arise  and it will as computer technology unrelentingly marches on.

I'm also posting photos of our new cameras. I explained briefly that our old camera finally gave in last week. The reasoning in buying two new cameras instead or one has nothing to do with needing two but rather (and I fully admit it) because I had my heart set on having a small camera of my own. The kind that is light and fuss free and can fit into most of my bags.
And let's hope we're done with the stuff for the foreseeable future :-)

  3. Ida: Thanks, will pass the compliments along because all tech decisions are Mr. C's department and the only camera requirements from my side were, let's have one in pink ;-) I love the rose in your profile.

    Mary Mur: Thanks :-)
Sorry, but I have never been to Greece :-( If however you ever decide to come to Slovenia, I'd be delighted to show you around.

  4. I have my MacBook, and rely on it. It lasts it´s time, and has to be renewed after a few years. This one is my second one.
Luckily there is the I Mac for catastrophes. I am totally hooked with the net. Sigh.

  5. Mette: I am quite enamoured with Mac but alas Mr C is a PC man and I was informed that it is better for the whole household to have the same operating system. And the Internet has become a major addiction for me as well and I really have to cut back.
